As the Director of Interactive Design and Digital Learning for the Pendergast School District, Ray Pohlmeyer's primary role is to develop and provide professional development for district staff, which focuses on the integration of technology and curriculum. In doing so, he takes a collaborative approach, providing hands-on training in current technology resources, while infusing new technology into all disciplines and fields. Because of this role, Pohlmeyer says he enjoys watching the confidence of teachers grow to plan and present content using a wide variety of teaching aides, motivational and implementation strategies to engage students in active learning.
