Jonathan Nalder is an Educator of 18 years who’s very first mobile device was a Nintendo Game and Watch unit. As a teacher he got his mLearning start with Palm PDAs in the mid-90’s, which led to a mission of helping learners and teachers successfully transition to mastering today’s tech. After a 6 month research sabbatical in 2016, Jonathan was shocked at how fast AI and new tech were changing the workforce - so founded the FutureWe.org community to now help learners know how to be ready for a successful tomorrow no matter what the future brings. With help from now 400+ members in 18 countries, he has created and supported solutions such as the bit.ly/future-mapping tool, ‘MakeXR.net’ lessons (AR, VR, 3D), bit.ly/spark-empathy program and FirstonMars.net futures scenario across Australia and internationally to ensure everyone can be ready for anything. Jonathan is convinced that education, digital learning and futures thinking has the potential to transform lives, and as a current ICT Trainer at St Peters Lutheran College, Apple Distinguished Educator, COSN Advisor, CoSpaces Edu Ambassador, ASU Shaping Edu Ambassador, and Gen In Student Innovation Challenge board member, he actively works to make this real and help learners shift their thinking to embrace the coming fully digital and automated era.
