The Technology Integrator - Why, Who, & How

Are you looking to become or hire an EdTech integrator? What's the difference between 'integrator' and other terms such as 'innovator' and 'facilitator?' What does the job description entail? Are they the same everywhere? How does it fit within the IT role, and should it?
Having a helping hand to aide with the use of technology in schools is not only a good idea, it is necessary. Felix Jacomino leads a team of three full-time Technology Innovators at his school of 300 students and 30 teachers. His school has had much success with their 1:1 iPad implementation due greatly in part to this high integrator to teacher ratio.
Whether you are a current EdTech support person, a school or district administrator, technology director, or a classroom teacher thinking about venturing into an EdTech support role, you will want to attend this informative session. We will explore 'why' this position is integral to any school, 'who' is the right person for such a position, and 'how' to most effectively leverage the integrator's skills to see positive results in teaching and learning.
Budgetary considerations will also be addressed so bring your questions and be ready to share your experience with others.
